We are almost at New Year's Eve, and we will be quietly spending ours at home in Blue Heather Cottage. We will be watching the Ne
w Year come in and watch a movie or two.
Joe took some wonderful pics of Sheephaven Bay, which flows into the sea from alongside our village of Dunfanaghy. Linda from Fabrications asked us to take pics with the tide in, so here they are. I have to give all the credit for the pics to Joe, as he is the photographer in the family.

I will be back to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Enjoy your day!

Nice photos Joe! We are spending the next few days emptying out all the kitchen and utility cupboards and shuffling furniture round, in readiness for the ceiling to come down. Well, there's not much on the TV after all :D
I will be having a quiet New Years Eve. But New Years day I am attending a Celidh (hope I spelled that correctly) I will be taking my penny whistle so I can join in. I am not great with the penny whistle but I am working on it.
Happy New Year!

You made some beautifull photo's, happy new year to you and your family. That your wishes may come true.
In recent years, we stay in on New Year's Eve, also. In fact, I am usually asleep long before midnight....no partying for me on that night any longer!!! LOL Love the photos of the bay there.
Your bay is beautiful, even in the winter. I am hoping to spend the evening at home on New Years Eve, but Mr. Cactus may have other ideas. We'll see who wins!
Wow what beautiful pictures and a beautiful view.
My congratulations to the photographer, Joe! Wonderful photos. I can almost hear the water lapping at the edge of the shore.
We always stay in, on New Years Eve! Only once in 51 years of marriage, did we go out. ,-) A bottle of bubbly, some special nibbles, watch some tv, read, sip, nibble... :-)
Oh and I love to turn on my scanner and listen to police reports later. People do some silly stuff, late on New Years Eve, after imbibing too much. -giggles-
Happy New Year to you and to Joe!
Pretty pictures! Hope you have a wonderful New Year's Eve. We will be spending it with friends and I am really looking forward to it!

Hi Micki! Well, I think Joe does a wonderful job taking these beautiful scenic photographs!!.. all the while I struggle to take one clear shot of a reindeer on my coffee table! Ha! Ha!.. Oh well.. This new camera is VERY different from the old ones I've used, and it's tough to get used to; but I'm working on it! (0; And practice makes perfect?.. they say??.. We do have plans for New Year's Eve, but I AM hearing we may get a good deal of snow right around that time; so if that's the case, it may be a quiet night of watching movies for us as well! Wishing you and yours a very Happy New Year! ~tina
