I have decided after much thought to close my blog. Joe and I are so busy with so many things in our lives,and I just don't have the time to keep up with all of the blogs and continue with my blog also. I do want to thank everyone who has followed my blog, and for all of the friendships that were made as a result of the blog. I hope that some of you will keep in touch with me and write. I would truly welcome your contact through emails, and do hope I hear from you. It has been a wonderful experience, and it is hard to believe the years that have gone by since I started. Thank you all for sharing your lives, and the inspiration that I have received each and every time I visited you. I hope that one day you will visit Ireland and we can meet. It is hard to put into words all that our contacts have meant to me; and it has been an experience that I will never forget.
Joe and I have plans for day trips, and we are happily busy with our lives. Our puppy is keeping us busy too, and we are so glad that Dougal is a part of our lives now. We have been working on our cottage and we do cherish our life here together, and each and every moment that we spend together is a blessing.
I truly hope you stay in touch and I wish you all much happiness and joy. It would be wonderful to hear from you telling me that all is well with you.

I'm very sad to hear your news. Yours was one of the first blogs I ever came across (when I got a computer!) and have followed for a few years now. Right back to before the Irish Convict Bonnet Project.
You have inspired me with your stories & pics of your little corner of the world, your furbabies, the horses on your wonderful walks, the scenery and the beautiful coastline. I have been entertained; inspired by your projects; concerned about your health issues; your move to your lovely little cottage; and your life/family stories. I just found your blog and you are leaving! It's something that I understand however. Sometimes there are too many things in our lives competing for our attention. With a wonderful husband, your cute little Dougal, and wonderful home, how could you not want to spend more time in that part of your life. Every minute of it will be blessed.
