Circle Quilt, Latest Info About Bobbi, and Walk to Portnablagh

I am almost done the circle quilt top, and will have a pic for you this weekend. With the way my legs have been, each project is quite an accomplisment. With everything that has happened, I am realizing that I was taking things for granted that I could easily do before. I won't do that anymore. You should see me getting into bed...it is a bit funny to see me do that for sure. LOL, but you would truly smile if you saw me with Joe.....we are a great couple!
Joe has been watching me make the circle quilt, and I am happy that it is turning out so well, so I guess that all I am doing is teasing you a bit, but you will see the pic of it tomorrow for sure. As to the suggestions to do it by hand, the doctor wants me to use my legs as much as possible, so I do go to the sewing machine and stay there as long as I can...Sitting in a lounge chair and handsewing is not going to work my muscles. The good thing is that I sew while I watch tv, as my sewing area is right by the tv in the living room.

As to Bobbi, we are going out to try to find him on Sunday, if the weather permits. We have had some major storms here in Donegal County, and even though we are taking long walks and following doctor's orders, we are coming back very wet. Here is a wee walk we took to Portnalagh, which is a beach near our own Killohoey Beach. It has a wee harbor, and you can see Horn Head to the left and the vast ocean . When Joe and I take the bus into Letterkenny, we always see Portnablagh first when the bus turns the bend heading back to our area. It is gorgeous there , and it always tells us that we are home. We were lucky that the weather cooperated, and we could get some pics when the rain stopped. This scenery is something we both will never take for granted!

Hope you enjoyed the pics and don't forget that tomorrow is the pic of the circle quilt, which of course I made using the AccuQuilt GO. I am appreciating having the GO, as I really find it hard to stand in one spot too long, and boy does the GO do the cutting fast.
See you tomorrow! Enjoy your Saturdays and do appreciate all the positive things in your life....I sure do!!!!!!
PS: Thanks to Caroll from Attic Window Quilt Shop for telling me that she missed my posts. What a lovely way to begin my day. You are a sweetheart Caroll!

That's the thing about muscles - you need to use them to make them work. I'm often lazy to do my exercises and the consequence is my muscles hurt more because they're not being worked. All the best.

Good luck on the Bobbi hunt, i hope you find him. Have fun sewing at the machine and focus on your legs being perfect. Just keep saying they are great. You'll get there.

The pictures are breathtaking, but you must be careful with getting better. Work you muscles, but also get the right kind of rest too.

I hope you find Bobbi this Sunday.

Ah.. glad to hear you are doing your exercise. I have to do my back stretches every morning to avoid troubles. Funny what we take for granted isn't it.

Photos are just gorgeous. You live in a beautiful country. I remember visiting Donagal in the 1977 the greens are so gorgeous and the beach we saw was breathtaking. I was thinking about you the other day and wondered how you were doing. Can't wait to see your circle quilt. I think I have tried to win the GO about 20 times LOL. Not sure it is in my future. LOL

I enjoyed each of your pictures, Micki. I enlarged them and enjoyed all of the details. I'll bet you were pretty chilly if you were wet!!!

I'll bet the circle quilt will be fabulous. I can't wait to see it finished.

It is sad how we take so much for granted. When it is part of our everyday lives we don't take the time and appreciate it UNTIL it is brought to our attention. It does sound like you are doing everything that you can to make this situation improve.

I hope it will be a great walk tomorrow.
