Sarah from Confessions of a Fabric Addict sent me the Moda Sweet Treat Mini Honeybuns that I won in her birthday giveaway. They are so cute! It's a lovely prize, and thanks so much Sarah for sending it to me.
I have been working on the blanket stitch around the circles for the circle quilt. 63 is a lot to do, esp. when I can't really sit at the sewing machine for long periods of time. My legs are still pretty painful, so I have to accept that fact and just make do....It will get done when it gets done....That was very philosophical...LOL
I am off to therapy today, but then afterwards we get to walk around Falcarragh, which is a cute town. We have been getting pretty stormy weather, and it is quite cool, so winter is on its way. I can't believe that Christmas is next month...I will have to find out when the Christmas Shop is opening in Letterkenny....I haven't done one thing for Christmas yet.
Enjoy your week, and thanks again Sarah...I never saw mini Honeybuns close up...so cute!

Sweet gift! Hope therapy goes well and you have fun on your walk.
Those are such sweet little honey buns! Don't they have a great marketing idea?
I hope that the therapy goes well and that you have a fun walkabout afterwards, Micki.
Would you shoot me if I said that you can do that blanket stitch by hand? I confess that I don't usually do handwork. But, you could do them that way even all propped up.
Have a nice walk at Falcarragh. I do love those Gaelic names!
Those ARE cute! Congrats on a great win.
Have "fun" at therapy... ugh. Oh, how I would love to take a walk with you through your towns.... Karen
I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well. congratulations on your win!!! I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner either!
That really makes your day, doesn't it!? Congrats!
Congrats on your wonderful win....fun all the way around by the surprise of the win and winning fabric in a quick-sew mode :)
I am so happy to have found your blog Micki; I am really enjoying how you share your fascinating & beautiful part of our blessed earth.
Your quilting friend in North Carolina :)
Lucky gift. Hope your legs are better soon. I loved Ireland when we were there, I also visited Philadephia earlier this year. Had to visit Sionna with a surname like Shannon. Blanket stitch is very relaxing when you cannot get to your machine. I do a lot of it whilst watching TV then I do not waste anytime, least that is what I tell myself.
What a great gift, I am sure you are going to have so much fun with the new fabric.
Oh those are adorable!
Hope you had a great walk, Micki! (Ours was wet and dark....) It will be fun to see what you do with your hifty prize!
What a lovely name for a roll of fabric. Hope the therapy goes well. Do you have a shop that just opens for Christmas then?
Beautiful fabric! I hope you feel better soon!
Good win Micki!!! Yes I agree...it will get done when it gets done!!! I can't believe Christmas is on it's way...I've done nothing yet!!! Dzintra♥x

What a great gift you won. Hope your therapy helps you with your legs
Dearest Micki, your legs dear...what is wrong? I have been having pain in my hips and lower back...it is that time of our lives that these things start to occur? THANK YOU FOR COMING BY TO MAKE ME FEEL SO SPECIAL! I am so happy that my blog is a place where people can come and KNOW that there is hope, dreams, love and civility between people! BLESS YOU and I hope you are feeling well.....Anita
