Giveaway Package Arrives

Sarah from Confessions of a Fabric Addict sent me the Moda Sweet Treat Mini Honeybuns that I won in her birthday giveaway. They are so cute! It's a lovely prize, and thanks so much Sarah for sending it to me.

I have been working on the blanket stitch around the circles for the circle quilt. 63 is a lot to do, esp. when I can't really sit at the sewing machine for long periods of time. My legs are still pretty painful, so I have to accept that fact and just make do....It will get done when it gets done....That was very philosophical...LOL

I am off to therapy today, but then afterwards we get to walk around Falcarragh, which is a cute town. We have been getting pretty stormy weather, and it is quite cool, so winter is on its way. I can't believe that Christmas is next month...I will have to find out when the Christmas Shop is opening in Letterkenny....I haven't done one thing for Christmas yet.

Enjoy your week, and thanks again Sarah...I never saw mini Honeybuns close up...so cute!

Those are such sweet little honey buns! Don't they have a great marketing idea?

I hope that the therapy goes well and that you have a fun walkabout afterwards, Micki.

Would you shoot me if I said that you can do that blanket stitch by hand? I confess that I don't usually do handwork. But, you could do them that way even all propped up.

Have a nice walk at Falcarragh. I do love those Gaelic names!

Lucky gift. Hope your legs are better soon. I loved Ireland when we were there, I also visited Philadephia earlier this year. Had to visit Sionna with a surname like Shannon. Blanket stitch is very relaxing when you cannot get to your machine. I do a lot of it whilst watching TV then I do not waste anytime, least that is what I tell myself.

Wait a minute, Christmas is next month. I'm not ready! Lol. Great goodies. Hope the therapy went well and your new equipment helps a lot.
Arthur as my DH calls it is quite a battle. He has been fighting it since he was 19.
