I am thrilled to introduce my Septemeber Star! Lyn has a blog called Just Granny's. She is a lovely lady who has 8 children , 8 grandchildren, a wonderful husband and two dogs, and she resides in Montague, Michigan. Does it all sound idyllic? Well it is. She is a lucky lady indeed to have such a wonderful family! I was so happy that Lyn agreed to be my Star, as she is such a talented and lovely person.

A Bit About Me:
I am a wife, a mother of 8, and a grandmother of 9. I was blessed with a patient grandmother who taught me to crochet scarves and sew doll clothes.
What Inspires Me:
I am constantly inspired by all of my blogging friends. I have learned so much, and I feel so lucky to have all of these wonderfully talented women to show their stitching. All I have to do is click on a blog, and I have all the inspiration in the whole world.

What I Love to Do the Most Creatively:
I like to crochet, embroider, and just generally putze craftwise,,,but the whole process of quilting is my true love. Everything from the fabric selection, to the hand stitching of the binding, is my favorite.

My Favorite Fabric and Designer:
I am not really a "Fabric Line" sort of person. I love the Thimbleberries line from Lynnette Jensen, and the richness of Kaffe Fassett, but I mostly love scraps. The scrappier, the better.

UFO I Intend to Finish First:
I started a memory quilt for my brother out of our mother's velvets a few years ago, and I got lost, so I put it away for a while. Now that I know more, maybe I will take that out and work with it.

What’s on the Design Wall Now:
I am hoping to finish up a "leaders and enders" pin wheel. I have all the HST's, now I have to find the right pattern to put them together. Backwards, isn't it?

Who Would I Love to Meet:

Very nice! That is a lot of little ones to be surrounded by. I love that she says she had a very patient grandmother who taught her. It does definitely take patience to teach crafty things. Good pick!

That is a sweet interview with a talented lady. I would like to see her velvet scraps attempt when she is finished.
My favourite of her designs is in the first picture with the simple hand-drawn style design on a white background and subtle border.
